Climate Change Response
Sebang Group demonstrates a strong commitment to carbon neutrality by operating a reporting system that monitors and manages monthly greenhouse gas (GHG) emission targets and actual performance. Each business site sets its own reduction targets, and if a target is not met, the underlying causes are analyzed and improvement measures are reviewed.

Logistics Energy IT Management System
To improve energy efficiency in the logistics business area, Sebang Group has introduced a logistics energy IT management system to monitor and analyze greenhouse gas emissions generated within its business sites. To manage energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, we utilize data calculation tools, the SENTER system, and the Logistics Energy Management System. In particular, the Logistics Energy Management System is being enhanced to improve the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3) from partner companies.

Sebang Group thoroughly carries out environmental management of air pollution, water pollution, chemicals, odor, and soil pollution based on ISO 14001 for production facilities in the manufacturing field and continues to promote pollution prevention activities through its own standards that are stronger than legal standards. In addition, we are continuing our efforts to prevent environmental accidents, save resources, and preserve the local community environment through facility investment, monitoring, education, and cooperative operation. Eco-Friendly Solar Power Generation
Sebang Group is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and has made expanding renewable energy usage a key strategy. This includes installing solar power facilities on logistics warehouse rooftops to enhance sustainability in its logistics operations.
Since 2018, Sebang Group has been operating solar power plants, actively contributing to the development of low-carbon port infrastructure and national carbon reduction initiatives. Through its SOLVIC brand, the company produces high-quality solar power and sells it to domestic power companies, generating economic value while fostering sustainable, eco-friendly growth.

Waste Utilization & Battery Recycling
Sebang Group continues its activities to reduce waste landfilling and incineration and expand recycling for resource circulation in the battery business division and is realizing a circular economy through research on waste battery recycling technology and application of mass-produced parts. We separate and recycle key components such as lead, plastic, and electrolyte of lead batteries and use them to manufacture new batteries. We respond to government regulations by recycling packaging materials and participating in the resource circulation target management system, and practice sustainable eco-friendly management.
