industry with its flagship brand, "Rocket Battery."
Sebang Global Battery originates from the Naval Technology Research Institute, established in 1952, and was officially founded in February 1966 under the name Jinhae Battery. The company specializes in the manufacturing and sales of automotive and industrial batteries.
The Gwangju plant is dedicated to the production of automotive batteries, while the Changwon plant manufactures AGM batteries for vehicles and industrial batteries.
Batteries are generally classified into primary batteries, which are non-rechargeable, and secondary batteries, which are rechargeable. Secondary batteries are further divided into lead-acid batteries and non-lead-acid batteries.
Sebang Global Battery serves both the OEM market, supplying batteries to automobile manufacturers, and the A/S market, providing replacement and aftermarket batteries.
In terms of application, the company's batteries are categorized into automotive batteries, industrial batteries, two-wheeler batteries, and special-purpose batteries.
